During the year 2007 the Department of Registry of Shipping & Seamen generated numerous certificates to Bahraini registered vessels. A total of 976 certificates were issued, the breakdown is as follows:

• A total of 43 new vessels were registered during the year 2007 to bring the total of vessels registered (≥ 150 GT) to 274 vessels with total tonnage of 534445 tons.
  
  
• 259 Navigation and Seaworthiness License.
  
  
• 124 Minimum Safe Manning Certificates.
  
  
• 19 Deletion from the Registration Certificates.
  
  
• A total of 458 endorsements attesting the recognition of a certificate for marine officers were issued (only during 2007).
  
  
• In addition to 73 various documents.

A total income of BD 41,037 was generated during the year 2007 from the various services provided, compared to BD 35,780 for 2006.
